Release of Liability

Acknowledgment of risks: I understand the weekend campout, Happy Pines property, and related activities involve inherent, known, and unknown risks. Natural hazards: I acknowledge rural land, uneven ground, trails, rocks, water areas, wildlife, insects, plants, weather, darkness, and limited emergency access. Activity risks: I acknowledge risks from camping, hiking, biking, creek/swimming or wading areas, music/event areas, vehicles, parking, and camping from vehicles. Participant responsibilities: I agree to act responsibly, follow event instructions, supervise minors in my care, and use reasonable judgment while on the property. Vehicles, parking, and camping: I understand vehicle access, parking, camping, and camping from vehicles carry risks and require care around people, equipment, and terrain. Medical consent: I authorize emergency medical care or transportation if deemed necessary and understand I am responsible for related costs. Release and indemnity: I understand the release includes waiver of claims, agreement not to sue, assumption of risk, and indemnification terms. California Civil Code Section 1542: I understand the release may include unknown or later-discovered claims as described in the full agreement. Minor participants: If signing for minors, I confirm I am authorized to do so and agree to the parent/guardian terms in the full release.
